5.0 vs LT1
I was crusing to the hair salon w/ the Wife to get her hair done. Real relaxing ride there. All backroads you can go 65+mph on and just cruise. There were 3 roads equaling 10 miles a piece to get where we were going. 80% of the trip backroad and peaceful.
Well we're about to merge onto some highway, and I see a Camaro hightailing on my ***. He gets there, and just cruises with me. Eventually, we merge, he behind I, onto the highway. He's on my buttocks the whole trip down the merging ramp, and as soon as it leads to the 2 or 3 lane highway, I see no cars coming, swerve to the far lane drop it into second and punch it. He does the same, only going to the lane directly to my right. We're neck and neck in second, I hit third and pull like a freight-train on an overloaded donkey. He's toast. I hit about 110 or 120 and shut it down, him buslengths behind me. I slowed down to a crusing speed, and eventually he caught up. We both gave a little wave, and we seperated.
Real nice LT1. Dont know what was done or what tranny, but real clean. It was white with a red stripe down the middle

5.slow's dont beat LT-1's unless its built
and u dont have much done to ur car
it was prob a V6 RS.......those where white with a orange stripes on them

Wrong. I think I'd know the difference between a v8 Camaro and a v6. ESPECIALLY since I've owned one.
What do you mean I dont have a lot done? Well no **** I dont.. this isn't a honda where a intake, tune and exhaust nets 5hp. Doesn't take a lot to make a 20 year old American v8 move. Buddy.

But I'd rather not retype everything that's done.
Basically, a ford explorer intake, heads, a nice beefy cam and a loud healthy exhaust

If he really does have a 12 second 5.0, then more power to ya pal and congrats
sorry i just don't like Mustangs.......and i have a hard time beliving their owners........
And Army can i ask why as a Mustang owner you have to post a bunch of kills about Camaro/Firebirds on a Camaro site

sorry i just don't like Mustangs.......and i have a hard time beliving their owners........
And Army can i ask why as a Mustang owner you have to post a bunch of kills about Camaro/Firebirds on a Camaro site

Alright bro , my bad, sorry for talkin mad **** but you seemed like a noob with a 5.Slow.....you didnt have many posts (neither do I) but i figued u just joined to talk **** about Camaro's , didnt realize you have been a member for awhile
but anyway i belive ur car runs 12's cause its not that hard to do with one of those cars, and truth is ive seen many 5.0's beat Lt1's
**** i got beat by a built 5.0 once when i had my 99 Z28
i was pissed.........only 5.0 that ever got me
but i got to ask, out of all those GM's why not a F-body?
