im pretty sure he posted that he works on other cars to show you that hes not biased towards the GT just cuz he drives one,and that he happens to be well versed in more than just his car.

To the 16 year old troll boy,

You have no idea what you are talking about. I saw a bone stock (except for removal of the silencer) '00 auto vert GT run a 14.1. This was with a 1/2 tank of gas, spare, jack still in the car and a 185 pound driver. I ran a 14.0 the same night with my car with pulleys, k&n, etc. Those newer automatic GTs run pretty hard. You talk down to Tim? He knows 100x more than you will ever know about cars. Go back to high school and shut up until you know what you are talking about. You remind me of an ameoba argueing with a rocket scientist.

Now back to my thread... Do the 2002 series gt weigh more, about the same or less then my car? Oh and about me and the 2002 gt racing my car has had a few more problems then I had anticipated so this race probably wont happen for a while. But look for it on the kill list eventually.

They range from about 3250 to 3600 lbs. w/o driver with a full tank of gas, spare, jack, etc. in the car. 5-speed, hardtop, low option cars are the lighter ones. Auto. vert. big stereo all option cars are the heavier ones. Your car weighs about 3500 lbs. if it has a lot of options but is not a vert.

Not the same year car, however just for estimates when mine was a 5 speed (now a slug auto), it weighed 3420 with me and 1/4 tank of gas. As said, auto is a bit heavier (approx 100 or so lbs).

Cahill93Z,
Calm down bro I'm sure that Steve Y meant nothing by his statement just as you meant nothing by your "Auto GT's are slugs" comment. Please don't get into this "this is a Camaro only site" because I've been here longer then a lot of folks here. Does that make me better? Absolutely not. I look at it as a learning experience every day and everyone here brings something to the table --- both younger and older folks alike.

Sit down, take a deep breath, and grab a chair. I believe (or at least I hope), that all of the domestic owners can enjoy learning from each other.

By the way, just because I dry a Stang doesn't mean that I don't appreciate other cars. Actually, one of my favorite cars is the Camaro just so you know. It happens to be the 68/69 SS.

What kind of bolt ons on the Lude? I beat a bolt on Prelude from a roll in a 14.4 at 95ish Mustang. And a stock auto vert '00 GT killed my 14.4 second Stang, badly!
