Re: 2000 a4 Z28 owns 2002 rustang gt
you can get 87-93 stangs very light, they'll have a great power/weight ratio once you start going with heads/cam/intake and full exhaust. I made the mistake of bottlenecking my 93 by doing ported gt-40 heads and no intake...ended up selling it before I could get around to it; I had a good 20rwhp+ just clogged up waiting for a good intake. The old 5.0's love FI also, very friendly to blowers, no2, and even turbos(except the 93-95's with the weaker hypo pistons). Anyway enough rambling, I'm buying an LT1 this time around, hopefully get it blown within a year or so. Good kill

WOW! My LT1 runs high 13s. So now I'm hanging with LS1s?
I think your specs might be incorrect.

i ran at the dragstrip one time bone stock on bald street tires and ran a 13.8x @102 and i was spinning through first and most of the way through second gear. i did race my cousins m6 2000 z28 and he beat me by a car the first run and i beat him by 2 the second run. with good tires i know the car will run a lot better even in stock form. the car has no idea what traction is.
