Question Will installing an adjustable panhard bar throw off my front wheel alignment?

I'm installing an adjustable panhard bar next week but I need to get an alignment tomorrow because I lowered the car 1.5 inches and am going on a 300 mile trip.

Will installing the panhard bar after I get an alignment throw off my alignment? The rear end is a little off center.

I think it may because when you adjust the panhard, the rear end moves sideways. I think it would just be best to do the panhard first, adjust it, then get the car aligned. I dont think it would be that bad though.

Adjusting the panhard bar will move the body of the car in relation to the rear axle assembly only. I don't see an effect on the front end. To be sure, ask the alignment shop.

Did anyone ever find an answer to this? I just had mine done and they had trouble getting everything to line up.

My Caster is way out side to side, about 1.5 degrees.

They didn't seem to know about the panhard bar in the back and if my adjustable one would make a difference

The phb will affect how the car tracks. If the rear is off center it will make the car have a tendancy to pull to one side or he other. It shouldn't affect caster as that's totally seperate.
