If the cage is for drag racing, it will need to be at least 5 points, depending on your ET times. Best to look at the rules before selecting a cage.

If its for NHRA racing and its got 5 points, its a roll bar (11.49-10.00), not a cage.

Do you really mean a full, NHRA legal (9.99 - 7.50) "cage"?

If so, its not likely that the rear seat will be very usable. In addition to the crossbar blocking entrance the the rear seat, there will be the main hoop, the diagonal braces from the main hoop to the middle of the floor in front of each rear seat, the two sill bars connecting the main hoop to the front upright, and the diagonal side bar, or at least the clevis for a swingout bar. Add to that the fact that the seat has to be bolted to the cross-bar, limiting its movement, and the two rear braces extending over the passenger's heads in the rear, and its going to be very "rear seat unfriendly".

ohhh no no mine is a street car...... i just want to have a basic cage in there for some support, and to stiffen it up a bit, as well it always looks good too so

something that will be good for street use, nothing overkill

thnx

What you want is not a "cage".... its a "roll bar" (13.49-10.00 for convertibles). Go to the Wolfe website and look over the roll bars they sell for convertibles.

Wolfe "bar":

We carry Wolf roll bars/cages as well as the Stenod Performance weld in 6 and 10 point bar/cages. If you are looking for a custom cage we can assist you in that process as well.
