I was driving the other day, and hit a bump around 70mph, the steering went to shaking BAD. slowed down it was good again. Could it be the center link or what else?

Re: violent steering

Need more info on the car...

But it could be any of the following:

Hub
Wheel Bearing
Ball Joint
Tie-rod-end
Rag joint
Rack
Steering box
Draglink,
Pitman arm

All depends on the car (not all cars have all of these); but those are normally the places to look for what you described.

Re: violent steering

Could be a swaybar or swaybar end link, too.
