vibration damper,rear brakes

Hi, I am replacing all my calipers on my 97 t/a and I want to know if i need to use the vibration damper on the rear brakes or can i do without them, the rebuilt calipers didn't come with them.

If i need them can anyone tell me the procedure to remove them thanks.

Re: vibration damper,rear brakes

There's a bolt and nut that holds the rubber puck on the bracket. I removed mine, and never noticed any changes, but my car doesn't get driven much, and on those rare occasions, mostly in a straight line, 1/4-mile at a time.
