vacuum canisters

did a search and only came up with a few threads... none helpful... im runnin the le2 cam with le3 heads and now my brakes suck... they wont even hold the car still to do a burnout.... i see summit has good prices for vacuum canisters... does it matter if its alum. or steel? is there any extras that i have to buy to go with the canister? and how does it install? just between the intake and brake booster? thanks alot
