some questions about your hal/qa1 install

I just finished installing the front shocks/spirngs and got a couple questions.

#1 what spanner wrench are you guys using? the one I got sucks cause its soo thin and not long enough. Id like to get a beefier one so I dont just strip off the adj.s.

#2 my right frong spring is touching the rear upper control arm bolt. it looks like the spring coil at the top isnt centered properly in the coil like the drivers side is. its def. in the pocket correctly, just wondering if anyone has had this same experience.

#3 the right front is also squeeking lightly. not sure if its due to the coil touching the control arm bolt or if its the shock itself. it realy sounds like its the shock.

#4, what torrington bearings will fit for the lower adj.s? anyone got a part # or where you can get them?

Re: some questions about your hal/qa1 install

I am using the QA1 spanner wrench that came the springs, and it works fine for me. I didnt have any issues with the control arm bolt hitting the spring, and also have no squeaking issues.

anyone got a pic of the QA1 wrench ? the one I have is thin, and it has a hinge on it, and only one tooth to grab with. its kinda jenky. I saw a fixed one that had two or three teeth on it so your not just grabbing with one. les slippage. just dont know where to get it from.
