Re: Upper A-arms

BMR's seem like a good quality set.
I went with Spohn and the price, customer service and shipping sold me from past components I have from them.

Re: Upper A-arms

At Frrax, f-body road race and autocross, nobody runs anything but global west upper a arms. Anything with polyurethane bushings should be avoided, Delrin is good enough, Del-alum may be over kill.

Re: Upper A-arms

If you go with poly bushings, don't get BMR. They don't have grease fittings.

Re: Upper A-arms

Are the adjustable upper A-arms overkill for street application? Cuz Global West is having a sale on their Upper A-arms but their version is fixed at the cost of $199.00 for Del-Rin and $275.99 for Del-A-Lum. BMR is $219.00 for poly and $419.00 for the adjustable version.

Re: Upper A-arms

Well let me put it this way....

My car is probably autocrossed at least as much if not more than it is street driven these days and I have absolutely no need for adjustables.

Your call.

I'd assume that if you get the adjustables, every time you need to replace the rod ends you will have to reset the alignment.

Re: Upper A-arms

Well, ask yourself if you really need the adjustability or not. Do you drive in such a way or participate in events that would require you to adjust your upper arms on a regular basis? If the answer is yes, go for the adjustables. If the answer is no, and it probably is, just save yourself some money and go buy the GW uppers.

I have Stock suspension up front, but with Prothane poly bushings...personally i hate hate them, too noisy (even though i greased the hell out of them) Im in the process right now to get Stock A-Arms off a damaged Ws6.

Personally for a daily driver, i would skip the poly bushings, i see no difference but noise

Adjustables are resonably priced from UMI
