uneven rebound
Hey, the problem that I'm having with my car has been going on since the lowering springs, adj lower control arms, adj panhard rod were installed. the subframe connectors were installed previously, along with the front struts, upper and lower ball joints, and inner and outer tie rod ends. So this is what's going on, if I'm driving down the interstate @ the speed limit, which is rare, usually faster. When I go over dips and waves in the road that are substantial enough to cause the car to actually have suspension travel (the car is very stiff due to the suspension mods) the left front acts similar to what you would expect as do the rears, the problem is that the passenger front actually bounds and rebounds farther than the other 3 assemblies, and @ a different rate. This gives the car a very uneven feel, and could be dangerous because my front wheels are maxed out on the camber adj, due to the lowering of the car, and I haven't found a kit to remedy it, so my fronts are set perfectly for cornering, but with the right front rebounding different, and all of a sudden having all of that tire reacting to the road, especially in less than favorable conditions a person could be taken by surprise and wreck. I've had the front subframe inspected, the car hasn't been wrecked, suspension components are fine, bushings check out, no bent sway bar or messed up end link, struts are new, that leaves the spring on the right front. I bought them from jeggs, and I would hope eibach wouldn't accidentally put two springs with different rates in by accident. So that leaves the coil spring seat, the control arms. What do you guys think? Could also be a defective strut, or a strut damaged on installation, which I can't rule out. Open to ideas.
Sounds like the right front shock (there are no "struts" on a 4th Gen - they are "coil-over" shocks) is bad. May be new, but since that's what controls jounce and rebound, sounds like its not doing its job.

Well it's good to know that I was right lol, I said it was a coil over setup too, the moron that I had working on the car before said it's a strut. So I got in the habit of calling it a strut, my apologies to f bodies and f body enthusiasts everywhere. So I will inspect the rf shock again, and probably just replace both again and have the alignment reset. Thanx man, a second opinion is always valuable in these situations.
