Dan Burk (ws6transam) retrofitted one on his third gen. Last time we talked about it, he said he loved it! It lets you adjust the instant centers for braking and acceleration separately, so you can tune them both for optimal weight transfer. Pretty cool!

I saw this torque arm, too. It looks frickin' sweet. It is twice what other torque arms cost, but it looks well worth it.

I like the extra tube and mounting surface added to the Unbalanced crossmember. I have heard a number of people complain about the mounting areas being "torn out" or "damaged," with other tunnel mounted torque arms that only have the two mounting points.

Unbalanced Engineering's site is somewhat strange, as it appears the company is not in business, but if you add something to the cart, PayPal pops up, and you can pay.

It would be cool if there was a phone number to call.

I am planning on buying one of these torque arms because they look very functional and very cool.

Ask about it at frrax.com, some guys there are more familiar with it.

I have their PHB, it's a high quality piece.

Did you do the panhard bar relocator kit, as well--so the panhard bar is "level"?

I don't see the advantage of this, but I am just wondering if you have done this.

Yes, I have done the PHB relocation. You should weld in the mounts, but I did that the same time I put in a 5 point and a set of custom subframes. It does more than level the PHB, it relocates the roll center several inches lower and is a major help on keeping the rear hooked up.

Jason is most often to be found on FRRAX as is Alan Blaine who did my installation and cage.

AT one time Alan was doing all of Jason's fab work although that was one at a time custom and I think Jason has gotten someone to build a jig and mfg them now.
