tubular front control arms

anyone have any issues with these breaking when the front end comes down from a wheelie? or breaking at all? I thought I read somewhere that some people have had this happen, but not sure. I was looking at the spohn set and was considering going with chromemoly(spelling) to avoid this. any input?

thanks

Andrew

Re: tubular front control arms

You won't have any problems with the Spohn products. The only references I've seen to breakage of tubular parts was a PA K-member that came apart on a drop from a wheelstand. But it was only the K-member that broke, not the A-arms, which were stock, not tubular.

Re: tubular front control arms

the bushings in the control arms allow for flex and deflection of stress...directly to the k-member.

spohn has high quality stuff and is about the only a-arm replacement i'll buy.
