Torque Arm

Will putting on a aftermarket torque give me better traction on my lt1 car.

yes it will. I got the BMR Adjustable Torque Arm and it cut .2 off my 60 ft time at the track. You can also feel it transfer more of the power to the rear and plant the rear end better. Definately worth it.

Yes indeed. Rear will feel stiffer, comfort is not my concern.

Just a suggestion. I don't know what you have done to your car cause you have no signature (BTW, make one) But there are more economical ways to help you plant. The best bang for the buck I did was some LCA's. The TA helped a lot as well but is about 3x the price.
