Thumbs up subframe connectors saved my car

So I was backing up onto rhino ramps like I did many times in the past, and I even had my mom guiding me up just to be safe, then all the sudden the drivers side ram shot under my car under the drivers side door. If I didn't have sfc's it probably woulda ****ed up the bottom of my door. Had me scared for a second. My mom said it just shot out under the car, and I still had alot of room to go.

wow. One time I was trying to help this guy move his car of my mailbox that he ran over (It was icy), he put two 1X4s under his front tire and one of them shot out from under his car out the back and almost took my leg off!

Just so you know, you should jack up the car and put the ramps under each tire, then lower the car onto them, I know they are to be driven onto, but this is a design of ramps that has been in place since the early 30's when cars had 25" spoke wheels. Also for refrence, put the rear of the car on ramps first before you put the front if you are doing all 4 ( this is how I work on my car in the garage) cause if you put the front up first, when you jack up the rear, you have no brakes holding the front and down the ramps it will go!!! That one is just common-sense really, but you'd be amazed who lacks that anymore. I also suggest putting a jack-stand under the SF up front or back cause I have had a ramp colapse on me also once, very scary, if my head was under one of the SF or tans mount, it would have been a mess !!!! YUCK !!
