Which Strut Tower Brace??

Who makes the best strut tower brace? I've found a 3-point Edelbrock one at Summit Racing for $114. Is there any other brands that you guys recommend or anything like that? Please let me know. Any input would be great. I'm looking to hopefully buy one tonight :-) Thanks!

If you go to the bottom right of this forum and use the search section, type in , Strut Brace, you will see other treads on this subject.... They might answer your question...

There is a reason that BMR doesn't make a 3 point. They have been known to break windshields.

wow really? I've never heard that a 3-point could break a windshield. maybe that's something I should look into before i decide whether i want a 2 or 3 point. Is it easy you think to break the windshield with a 3-point.

I'm pleased with my BMR chromoley 2 pointer.

I am not comfortable with the idea of attaching a brace to the firewall. Just seems like a little too much torque might cause some problems with the the windshield, especially on a T-Top. JMHO

I have a 3 point, but I didnt attach the third point to allow flex. The reason I got the three point is because I eventually plan on getting an SS hood and maybe an SS intake... with the three point i have that option.

BMR offers a chromoley 2-pt STB especially for the SS. It sits at an angle to allow for the RAM setup and therefore needs to be made of a stronger metal.

I've been running a 3-pt on my Formula for 9 years..... windshield is still in one piece . 800HP doesn't seem to have affected it. I have only found one documented case of a 3-pt "breaking" a windshield, and that was a case of an Auto-X car that left the road and ended up in a ditch.
