Rotor/Pad combo

I just bought a 96 Z with lots of new suff, rebuilt calipers, new master cylinder, and others. The only thing is the the rear brakes squeal towards the end of a stop and I know that the pads need replacing all around. Or at least new up front and adjusting in the back. There are also a high and low spot in the front rotors, nothing major but I know I need to get them replaced. I was thinking about sloted front rotors and was wondering if I should go with some nice performance pads? Or just stay OEM? I like the look and function of sloted rotors but the car will get some bolt ons by next summer along with suspension parts and the spray thats about it, more of a cruiser than a serious racer.

Personally, I like the AutoZone (Aimco) rotors and Raybestos ceramic pads. No noise, no dust, good stops.
