I have the toyo t1 proxes, and they are great. I have Corvette (C5) sizes, so 245s in the front, 275s in the back. I don't know how much the driving dynamic would change if I had 275s on the front.

275s will tramline pretty bad on rutted pavement. I had Dunlop SP8000s too and they were really bad about this.

Been a while but I finally got new Nitto 555 EPs on the front and also got it realigned and not such an agressive alignment this time and it drives perfect now and doesn't pull any more on bumps and such. It was a little of both tires and alignment. Thanks for the input all.

Re: Steering issue with 275 tires, pulling on grooves/bumps on straights

My 97 Z28 tracked with the stock 245 16's and does it with 275 17's. After getting under the car the last couple of days I looked at the bushings. A arms looked worn, ball joints and tie rod ends looked worn. The car has near 149,000 miles on it. I want to do the rag joint also. I'll be looking into bushing and ball joint replacement to see if it helps. The 17 inch wheels on mine are the 00-02 SS 10 spoke wheels.

The reason I was under the car was to replace the sway bar bushings and end links (poly) and to do the passenger side plug wires and plugs. Looks like there's more work to do with the suspension.
