Squeak from the rear........

So I have a random squeak from the rear of my car. I know that it is in the suspension. I was wondering if that would be a shock or a spring or something easy like a bracket.

Its a 2000 Z with 43,000 miles.

Get someone to get your suspension to travel by pushing down and listen and look. I had a similar squeak which I pinned down to a rubber bushing.

I recently had allot of squeak noise out of the rear end. I ended up spraying all the bushings with brake fluid in a common armor all type spray bottle - conditions the rubber parts. Eliminated all the squeaking.

Lower control arm bushings, get some tubular arms with poly bushings. Problem solved.

I dont agree with spraying anything on the bushings, it will cause the buildup of "junk" and promote more wear, this may be a short term fix but does not solve the problem.

It could also be the bushings or endlinks on the rear sway bar. I second the idea of having someone push on the car while you listen for the noise.
