Have you contacted Spohn for assistance?

Try to put both dowel pins in at the same time. I think that's what I had to do. Also do you have SFC's or a STB? If not you might have to try jacking up one side or the other to let the body flex and to get the pins to line up.

As far as the a-arms, you can lengthen/shorten them to make them fit and just leave it up to the alignment guys to get everything to where it should be. Firestone had a hell of a time getting my alignment set up after my complete front suspension swap.

injuneer, no that was my first step but as it was saturday yesterday and sunday today i figured that was no good. and i wanna get this done this weekend casue i wont have the time during the week

LT1, the rest of the car is stripped, this is kinda the first suspension part im putting on, and the STB and SFC are not on the car yet, all the jack stands are on the same notch but im sure the car is not exactly flat, so thats a great idea to flex it a bit, ill go play with that and see which side has to go where and maybe i can get it to work, this just doesnt make sense?????

LT1, about the a arms, i mean the steel pin that goes thru the rod end, the rear vertical one fits in fine, but the front will not fit in the mounts, the steel rod that the bolt goes thru is slightly to long, it might actually be the powder coat on the k member, thats how close it is...

Use the "tech" line on the Spohn site. There's a good chance it will be read outside of regular business hours.

no i figured i might get something there but didnt bother to try it. i figured id just go out and try jacking up on the frame to flex it. but it didnt flex a bit. i tried right on the sway bar mount and it just picked the whole front off both stands...

so i put the drivers side dowel in and bolted it up fairly tight, then went to the other side and it was about an 1/8 to far to slide in the hole

then i got the idea to put a jack in the center of th cross bar of the k. with a block and a few rags of course.. i made one small jack, and saw the dowel move about 1/16 closer to sliding in, then one tiny jack more, and the pin slamed in the hole, bolted it up and dropped the jack, the cross bar has no visible bend in it, i didnt have to put much pressure to make it work... i hope i didnt hurt anything..

the only thing i didnt really like was some of the bolts were at the very far end on the bolt hole in the k member hole.. i dont know if it is the k, or possibly the car was hit before i got it and frame got tweaked?? who knows, just figured id post how i fixed the problem, incase anyone else has the same problem, thanks guys!
