Exclamation SLP Brake Line Lock ... can this be self installed?

Just curious to know if installing a SLP line lock would be difficult to do on my own?

Any advice or referals to links for help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Mine's not an SLP, but it probably uses the same Hurst Roll Control solenoid. Mine was very easy, 1-2 tops, taking my time. Just make sure the kit has all the prebent lines and you're good to go!

Yes the line lock can be installed yourself. It really isn't that hard, and it comes with everything you will need.

I will try to take some pics to help you out.

Here is where I mounted the line lock unit

The line in the back goes to the line lock unit

The power wire is run to the battery junction
The ground to the switch, the other switch prong goes to ground.
Here is where I mounted the switch

Hope that helps

Does this kit come with new brake lines? If not, flaring the hard brake lines after cutting them can be a bit tricky.
