Should I have welded this part of the SFC to the body?

I'm wondering if I should have welded the rear part of the sub-frame connector to the body...the part that the LCA bolts up to..and also maybe part of the sides where the LCA bolts to?? The instructions only mentioned welding the "pads" to the body..there were 3 "pads" on each side.
Here's a pic of the rear part I'm talking about...its kind of a large gap, but nothing I can't fill in with the welder.

Here's a pic of the entire underside, the part I'm talking about is almost right over the rear car lift arms.

Reason I'm asking is I'm having trouble keeping them from "knocking", I have the bolts as tight as I can get them with the suspension loaded...they were fine at first, but squeeked, so I removed them and regreased them up, and now it doesn't squeek any but it knocks around going over any bumps.

Yes, it should be welded.

I would think that you'd be fine welding the pads, and on the outsides of where the LCA mounts, around where the bracket contacts it.

Cool beans, I welded the end of the SFC up and the knock went away. Thanks all!
