Shocks or springs... whats a better gain?

This is more a curiosity question then anything, but with stock Z28 suspension if I wanted a better performance in the corners what would I get first if I could only do one.

Shocks or springs?
I was thinking shocks, but then I was thinking springs, cause the stock shocks will do the job for a while..... but then I got all confused and dont know whats going on with that anymore.

So if I wanted to get better performace by doing only one, what would I do?

There isn't really a good answer for that, for I always recommend doing both at the same time or not at all. But...do the shocks 1st.

Shocks. BUT... if you're replacing the front shock, you might as well do the front springs at the same time, they're going to be off the car anyway. If you don't, when you decide to do it, you'll pay the same labor charges again.

combine that with 1LE lower arms, Global West Del-alum upper arms, and a C5 brake upgrade if you wanta knock it all out at once.
