sfc install ???

first of all has anyone bought the j&m sfc's from hot part? if so you could help. if not try to answer anyway. I bought these and they are weld in only. one end is flat and the other is round. my welder guy looked at them today and said they will not work. then we tried to fit them up there every way possible with no luck. is hotPart.com full of crap or did I get convertible sfc's? or is there any way to make them work?
sorry, I know pics would help but I dont know how to host them.
one end is flat with almost a "box" (this is the end that should bolt in the back) the front end is round with a little plate that should be welded in. if we got the "box" where it was supposed to go the round end was not in any position to be welded.
sorry so long, any help would be appreciated

Re: sfc install ???

You're installing them backwards.

The box (shovel) end goes on the front subframe and the round end with the flat goes along side the rear control arm mount. I have pics btw.
