Rotors/Pads

I have a 93 z28 m6 that is currently my DD for spring/summer/fall and my current rotors are close to needing replacing, and are quite rusty. From what I have gathered so far, the Autozone rotors are good ones to buy. Im just asking if anyone else has any input on which rotors or pads to buy?? Im not looking for anything insane, I dont do much racing unless its on the highway or something so I have no need for the expensive ones. Input please? Thanks.

Autozone regular rotors and their Gold Pads... that combo is great for a normally driven car.

Just make sure to use a torque wrench when you put your wheels back on, not an impact, otherwise you could warp the rotors.

the Hawk HP pads i put on my ATE rotors are real nice.

huge difference in stopping.

had ZERO noise from the get go
and sofar almost no noticable brake dust, but only have ~500 miles

The Autozone premium pads and rotors I put on my DD work great. Very little dusting, stop well.
For my Formula, I used Hawk HPS pads and Brembo blanks. Super stopping power and much less dust than stock.

I agree I have the ATE Rotors and Hawk HPS's also. Braking performance is much improved with no noise and virtually no dust.
