Anybody know where a good place to get some remanufactured LS1 brake calipers would be? My calipers are shot I think, and I dont feel like rebuilding them myself. The boots are torn to hell, I think one of the pistons is stuck cuz of rust, and they squeel like nobodys business, and it isnt the pads cuz ive used like 4 different types of pads, and they all make noise. So im fed up with this, and just want to get some "new" calipers. Also, the paint on them is all messed up, so thats just more incentive for me. Thanks guys.

 

yeah go to 3rd gen.com look up ebbmiller ,he sells that stuff or big brake upgrade.com i think sells rebuilt calipers as well and they both sell powder coated ones.it aint cheap but to save time and postage you check your auto parts store?they have them ,its not like these are a rare item

 

autozone sells them for about 40 bucks each
they may need to be ordered and the core charge is around 40 bucks too
lifetime warrantee, if they ever go bad get another set no problem

they dont come with the brackets
and the brake hardware kit (comes with the spring clips and dust seals) costs only 12 bucks, which may solve the squealing
