Is the rearend supposed to come all the way up to the little rubber stops?

Tonight I took the wheels off the car to weld on the LCA brackets and i noticed that the axle tubes have been hitting the little rubber stop on the inside of the wheelwell. Is this bad? does it mean I need new springs or shocks?

I think I have 90k mile originals on the car of both shocks and springs. Any suggestions?

The rear ends do tend to sag a little bit on the older cars sometimes. Mine does, but I don't mind - makes the car look better.

The rubber pieces are called Jounce bumpers and their function is to prevent metal to metal contact on extreme suspension travel. I've got marks on my axle tubes too and I'm running Eibach springs that are fairly stiff. No need to worry about the marks.
