Rear brakes look funny.

I just had my rear rotors and pads replaced and something doesn't look right. On the fronts the caliper goes all the way down and the pad has contact with the whole rotor. But on the rear the caliper and pads stops with almost an inch of leftover space. I may be wrong, but I thought that the rears went down all the way also. Can someone correct me or show me some pics of their rears? Thanks.

Re: Rear brakes look funny.

Sorry, no camera. My concern is that the whole surface of the back rotors are not being used. In the front the pads cover the the whole surface and go down as far as possible. In the rear, the pads only cover part of rotor. There is a 3/4" ring around the center of the rotor that is not being used. Is this correct? I don't remember how my old brakes looked, but I could have sworn that the pads in the rear covered the whole rotor.

I will try to get a camera tomorrow, but if someone else has a picture of their rear wheels/brakes I'll be able to compare mine to theirs.
