rear brake upgrade question
complete brake upgrade (rear C5 or LS1??) question
I've been searching around for the past couple hours with no luck, so I probably just suck at searching...but anyways, here's the deal-
I have a '97 V6 Camaro....front 'LT1 Disk Brakes' and Rear 'Drum Brakes', I recently got ahold of a rear-end off a '96 Trans Am to install, but it did not come with any brakes...obviously I want to upgrade, and as such, I'm currently piecing together the parts to swap on some C5 Brakes in the front. In doing so I acquired all 4 rotors and pads from a '02 Z06 for a pretty cheap price. since I have to put brakes on the rear axle anyways, is there anyway to just use the C5 rotors on the back, (what calipers do I need?, etc.) and if so, what parts do I need to get this working?
Thanks for your help.

Re: rear brake upgrade question
Baer sells a slightly larger rotor for the rear disc brakes on the 93-97 4th Gens, works with the stock caliper. The rear caliper is a fairly decent PBR single piston aluminum unit, and Baer has indicated it doesn't need upgrading, that's why they only make the rotor.
Re: rear brake upgrade question
i'll keep that in mind as a backup plan. thanks for the info.
since i only have drum brakes right now, I have to buy calipers and the rest of everything else anyways...is there anyway to get the c5 rotors to work in the rear, or would i be better off just buying a different set?
