I just changed my rotor and pads in the rear. Now my drivers side rear squeaks like crazy only when I turn left. It squeaks also when I am taking a corner at a fast speed. Do I have a bad rotor?

 

you may have bad rotors. Two things for ya to do. Did you use disc brake quiet? Also my caliper bracket was actually touching my rotor causing a sqeak. ALl i did was stick a couple washes between where the caliper mount bolts to the axle. Basically check to see if the rotor is rubbing anywhere, and use disc brake quiet made by permate.

 

I have the same problem after my brake pad and rotor install about 2 weeks ago. Same exact thing, I'd turn left and squeak. Then itd get to squeaking when i applied the brakes, and sometimes when I took off.

I think its because I used cheap pads. I went to NAPA and all they had was a $20 pad and a $70 pad. I decided to be cheap and try the 20 dollar ones. Now, not only do I think they are the cause of the noise, but they dust horribly! I should have went quality like I did on the front.

I am going to swap my rear pads sometime this week. If you havent found a solution by the time I do it, I'll let you know if my pad swap did the trick.
