Question on install of rear springs/shocks

Has anyone had to disconnect rear brake line hoses when dropping the axle to install new rear springs? Getting ready to do it this weekend on my 96Z, would like to know. Thanks, guys.

shouldnt have to, might have to unbolt where the line is still bolted to the car befor it goes onto the axel. but not disconnect it.

Nope, not necessary. Just support the rear axle at the height where the shocks are at full extension and you'll be fine.

Re: Question on install of rear springs/shocks

I've found that I need to remove the lower shock bolt to get the rear to drop enough to remove the springs. As stated above, no need to mess with the brake lines.
