Qa1 stocker r with stock springs

I just bought 2 qa1 stocker r series shocks. PN RC7855P. I want to instal them with the stock springs. There website says that they need to be modified slightly to work. Does anybody know what needs to be done? I would just call them but they arent open until monday and the only thing i have to do is work on my car all weekend. any help would be apreciated thanks. This is on my 95 z28.

The stock spring seat has to be modified to use stock springs. Injuneer has an install guide on his site. Look at the bottom of his photo page for pics.

Thanks alot guys. I imagine that the only way to remove the spring seat from the old shock is to cut it down so it can slide off. The only otherway I could see is to cut the old shock on half with a sawzall. Thanks again for those pics. CZ28 rules!

You do not have to do anything to the stock seat to slide it off the stock shock. A few taps of a hammer and it falls off. The top washer on the stock DeCarbons may appear to prevent the seat from sliding off the top, but the washer pops off the top of the shock.
