QA1 adj's
I have a 2000 Z28 i have upper and lower control arms but dont want to put them in till i decide on what suspetion to get. Ive been thinking about getting the QA1 fully adj i will be getting sway bars. Just looking for some advice if these will be good for what i will be doing. I take my car to the track and like to rip around back roads every once in awhile. My car is not an everyday driver i have QTP lt's with e-cut out's and true dual, subframe conectors so i dont have to much ground clearence thanks for your help
Re: QA1 adj's
The QA1 adj. struts/shocks are more of a track duty item in my opinion and that is where they seem to shine the most. Seeing that your car is not an everyday driver and times you do drive it is at the track then they would make a good upgrade for your car.
Re: QA1 adj's
I run the QA1's on the street and love them. But I'm comparing them to the stock DeCarbon shocks.
I'm running a set of 300 lb/in springs for them too.
I keep my fronts set at 6 for street, and 1 for the drag strip.
I don't have the rears yet.

Re: QA1 adj's
You can use any springs with the front QA1's, if you modify the stock spring seat to fit over the QA1 mounting nut. And obviously you can use any springs in the back, since they don't mount on the shocks.
If you want a "drag" setup, stick with the stock rear springs, or a set of the Eibach Drag Launch springs. The Eibachs may raise the back end of the car 1/2" or so. If you are into street handling and high cornering G's, I wouldn't use the QA1's, based on my personal experience. There are better shocks available. The QA1's are a decent compromise if you want to be able to accomodate both straight line and cornering requirements.
While the rear QA1's are adjustable for stiffness, they are not adjustable for ride height. For that, you need a rear coil-over conversion kit.
