problems with tubular lower a-arm front mount???

I'm trying to install Spohn tubular lower a-arms in my AJE k-member. The front "pockets" for the a-arms seem to be too wide. Has anyone else ran into a similar problem? It looks like I can take up the clearance with a couple flat washers. is this an acceptable option?

Thanks,
Frank

Thats way to big of a gap to be using washers. Its going to put alot of spressure on that bolt. And Im sure it would not close that much if you crank it down.

With it being that far off, I would call around and make sure if that is acceptable or if there is a better way.

I e-mailed the pictures to both AJE and Spohn. Both told me to make up the difference with washers. After putting 2 washers in each side it doesn't look near as "ugly".

Thanks,
Frank

You should be able to get larger "extensions" for the rod end spacers online. I recall seeing a website with them... unfortunatly I dont have the link any more

If that's what they recommend then try it out, I don't see the difference in getting a bigger spacer and spacing it with washers, to me that's like 6 one way half dozen the other...

Too wide of space.

Be sure and use only Grade 8 washers. Not some regular hardware washers.
