part above panhard rod

part above panhard rod

while taking my catback off i had to take off the piece similar to the panhard rod, but just above and behind it. what is this parts name and purpose? also ok to drive/ race the car like this?
wondering if i should put it back on b4 i take the car out of storage?

The part you are talking about is the panhard rod mount support brace. You need to have it on the car before driving it.
