Its a pretty straightforward job. However, by soaking all of the old bolts with PB Blaster and having a breaker bar handy should make the job go smoother. Also, for the LCA install, it helps to put the car up on ramps and then raise the rearend with a floorjack. Use the floorjack to make adjustments in the rearend height in order to snake the bolts thru the LCA holes.

No, I would raise the rear of the car and then support it with jackstands placed under the chassis rails. Then use the floorjack to raise or lower the rearend to get the right angle so you can slide the LCA bolts through the holes.

just finished doin the lcas...did the phb this morning...used the spots that gtp2000 suggested for the jackstands and raised and lowered the diff with the jack. 1st lca was a bitch but the 2nd one was easy...didnt use any locktite tho...feels good downshifting and feelin less wheel hop tho!

Whats the difference between getting the adjustable lower control arm and the non adjusable rear control arms?? Is it worth getting the adjustable and also is the non adjustable that much better then the stock. Also do I need the LCA Relo Brackets?? I do not have my car lowered, and I dont plan on it, so do I need them too? Thanks

The only difference in adjustable and none-adjustable is it gives you the ability of adjusting the Thrust angle. LCA relocation brackets are always a good idea even if you dont lower the car. That will help eliminate all wheel hoop. I have the non-adjustable Panhard (which I wish I got the adjustable one) and the single syphirical rod end control arms and Im very happy with how my car slams the alxe into the ground when I launch.

Check on the way your vendor uses the term "single" adjustable.

Typically, a "single" adjustable only has threads on one end. You need to remove the bolt and drop the arm out of the bracket to adjust it. "Double" adjustable has either a dual-threaded adjuster in the center, or opposite hand threads on both ends to allow the adjustment to be made without unbolting anything.

Adjustable LCA's can also be useful for movnig the entire axle assembly forward or backward, to maximize clearance for large slicks.

"syphirical"..... isn't that an STD ? Spherical.
