Installed new rotors - grooves and ridges on one the same day

I got all new rotors and pads installed today, after a short drive front left rotor got grooves and ridges on the outside surface, inside one is smooth. Right side and rears are OK.

Any ideas why and what to do now.

Help!

Can the caliper slide easily? Do you drive on gravel roads?

Take it apart and see if anything is trapped in the pad.

Solution - retrurned them to the store and got another set of rotors and pads from another source (Napa premiums) and all is good now.

The pads that ate the rotor were Monroe premium ceramics so make sure you avoid them.
