A Panhard rod isn't going to help you a bit on a drag strip. I'd leave that stock. And for the LCA's, it probably doesn't matter hugely either way on polyurethane vs rod ends, might go poly because it'll be a bit cheaper and give the rear axle a bit of compliance for those hard launches.

Tubular arms, like the ones from Spohn are great for a 9-sec setup. You don't need the extra weight of the box-section arms. I would go with the rod ends if its a "track only" car.

The panhard rod still comes into play when the body reacts to the rear axle torque on launch. Typically the torque and weight transfer will either force the rear to squat or rise up, and in either case the more rigid panhard rod with poly bushings or rod ends would seem to control body lateral displacement with respect to the axle on a hard launch.

This is the setup on an 8-second 4th Gen:

All Spohn stuff, except for the Wolfe sway bar.

Car launched very well:

Pictures?..... me?.....

There are two cells in the trunk.... one for the air-liquid intercooler and one for the fuel. The battery in under the car, not in the trunk.

I've got similar stuff on my turbo car. Aluminum LCAs w/ rod ends. I did an adj. panhard bar w/ rod ends as well so I could center the rear. The rod ends also gave me a little more tire clearance over the stock or poly ends. I also went with rod ends wherever I could b/c I don't want any uncontrolled movement in my chassis. Poly mounts will move too much. You don't need boxed LCAs either.

I think the biggest thing would be getting the right shocks/springs under the car.
