Is my front hub bearing going out?

I hear a squeak at low speeds sometimes from the left front could my hub bearing be going out, need grease, or is it anything else?

Thanks,
Archie

The hubs cannot be greased or serviced in anyway, only replaced.

The front brake pads might be down to the wear indicator, it is designed to rub and make noise when the pads are worn thin.

Jack the car up and try to feel play in the hub, or have a shop do it. Hubs are 100-160.00 each depending on what you buy.

Re: Is my front hub bearing going out?

Jack the car up under the lower control arm next to the wheel in question. Put your hands at 3 and 9 on the front of the wheel and push one side at a time. You can hear extensive play in the wheel bearings by doing this. While your at it, check your ball joints by putting your hands at 12 and 6 and doing the same thing. If you hear loud knocking the ball joints may be worn.
