lowering springs

im going to put some eibach sportline spings on my 97 z do i need to change the shocks right know also

Probably get better results in the "Suspension....." forum, rather than here in "Advanced Tech". I'll move the post there for you.

And yes... you will need different shocks.

You'll be better off w/a shock change. Usually the right front is pretty rusted up. You'll also need an adjustable panhard bar and some LCA relo brackets.

IMO Sportlines are too low and they don't have enough rate in the rear so you end up hitting your bump stops.

Off topic, but hows life in good 'ole DP? I grew up down there.

I would advise against it unless you are really want your car slammed.....I have them on my car(because previous owner installed the sportlines) and it is really hard to travel up any incline whats so ever

I havent hit the bump spots that I know about but they slam the car extremely low and will cause a bunch of headaches as far jacking the car up or just daily driving
