lower control arm question-Still confused?

I've done numerous searches and am looking to get some lca's. So far I'm going with the tubular ones. However, I'm not sure about the rubber vs. poly vs. rod end stuff. Right now my car is a daily driver with mods in sig and only sees the track once a year. Soon it will won't be and will be seeing a lot more track duty. What would the best combo be for me? Thanks.

you cant go wrong with the rod end stuff, the only downfall is they are noisy at times and they ride alittle harsher but you get the most out of them.

Personally, I'd give Brian a call at Hotpart.com. I picked up a set of his LCA's (poly/poly) and panhard bar.

I've heard most poly/poly bars tend to bind and are not recommended for road-racing/autocrossing. Brian came up with a novel idea to improve upon the poly and states his design completely eliminates the binding issue. He even offers a lifetime warranty on his bushings.

While I haven't installed them on my car yet, I can tell you his bars are well built, lighter than stock, and are priced right.

I'm happy with UMI poly/poly LCA's. I've heard about them binding during hard cornering, but I don't autocross the car, nor do I drive it hard enough on the street for that to be a factor.

What would be the pros and cons of the lca's being adjustable? Is it worth it to get adjustable or just stay non-adjustable?

like if the car's been in a wreck...you can straighten out the axle with adjustables...or if you're totally serious about drag you can actuall push the axle back or forward for more bite with minute adjustments of LCA and TA.

i've got rubber/rod end combo for the best performance. i have the rod end connected to the axle and the rubber is connected to the chassis...for silence. i made my own for about 120 bucks...and for another 75-100 you can make a PHR too.

Unless you're unhappy with the current location (front-to-back) of your axle, you don't need adjustable LCA's.
