Lift in the rear on launch
Lift in the rear on launch
I bought a Ford 9" that utilizes lift bars instead of a torque arm. I understand they're called lift bars, but I think the car is lifting so much, that I'm losing traction (1.75 60 ft.). I have a picture somewhere of what the bars look like, but basically, for those of you that don't know what I'm talking about, they're bars that connect from a drop bracket under the LCA (where it bolts to the rearend) to the front of the LCA. This forms a triangle and makes the pinion angle adjustable. The pinion angle is something else I haven't messed with. I thought I read somewhere that you can get chain limiters for the back. Is this the solution? Or, should I just deal with it and know next time to not try and bypass the torque arm? Just taking off, I can feel the car lift before it moves. Here's a pic of the car on launch. Completely stock suspension except for Lakewood LCA's in the rear. What do you guys think?
