LCA relocation brackets and 60' times

I'm trying to drop my 60' times and I just added a set of BMR LCA's and their bolt on relocation brackets on Friday. I ran the car several times on Sat and it only dropped my 60' times from a best of 1.86 down to 1.81. I didnt notice any wheel hop at all now which was cool and it felt smoother on the launch but I was hoping for more of a reduction in the 60' after adding these two mods. The instructions with the brackets didn't say which of the two sets of holes to mount the LCA's in so I went with the lower holes, I figured that would give me the biggest gains. Are the lower holes only for lowered cars though? Mine is stock height so now I'm thinking I should go with the upper holes. Has anyone with a stock height car tried both sets of holes and which of them resulted in the best 60' times? Thanks.

When I was considering relocation brackets, I talked to Brent at BMR. They are local to me. He suggested starting off with the upper holes, since my car will not be lowered. If you were not seeing significant traction problems with the drag radials, you will not see as great a difference in your 60'. He told me that stiffer control arms would help me more at this point. I am trying that first, since my KD's go up in smoke and are only slightly less sticky than the drag radials.

I guess I was expecting more of a reduction in my 60' from them but I really didnt have much of a traction problem before unless I tried a really hard launch (5k) They did eliminate any wheel hop though so that's a good thing. I'll try moving them to the upper mounts and see what that does. Thanks for the info.

I moved them to the top holes this weekend but I havnt been back to the track yet to test them. It felt better on the street though doing some test runs this week. I should make it to the track again before the end of the month, I'll let you know.

if your car has a lot of squat on launch I'd use the lower holes.
psj toy, a drag radial is a lot stickier than a kd and will hook a lot better. Kd's are for cornering and have a stiff sidewall as well, which is bad for launching.
