Question lca relocation bracket question

I just got these lca relocation brackets , bolt on .

Do I need to modify/cut anything to get them to fit? Or do they just squeeze inbetween the metal pieces where the old ones used to go?

Thanks in advance.

Re: lca relocation bracket question

They should mount "over" the stock brackets, from behind, with the tab for the bolt hole over the stud for the shock.

Nope, no modifying is necessary, just unbolt the LCAsa and lower shock mounts and bolt them in.
Didn't they come with instructions?

Re: lca relocation bracket question

No instructions, got them off of J & M products.

I've seen some pics of some installs and it seems some people cut off the part of the brace that is over the original brackets.

That is why I am asking cuz I can't get them to fit right.

Thanks.

Re: lca relocation bracket question

there is a thin metal bracket...for the brake lines if i remember correctly...that has to be removed and trimmed.

that was the only "modifying" that i had to do for my BMR brackets
