lca relocation bracket??

So I just installed lca relocation brackets on my 94 t/a and if anything it hooks worse? Is this normal? Its at stock height and would hook good but its not tuned yet so it runs like a pile of doo doo but I tried both positions and bo luck. It seems to have eliminated all the weight transfer? Are they about as useful as air foils or what?

You're car is stock height? I've always heard that the only reason to use them would be for a lowered car.

Back end of my car sits higher than stock because of the Drag Launch springs and the 28" slicks. LCA relo brackets, with the arm set in the lowest hole cured my wheel hop problems. The relo brackets are definitely useful for straight line traction, whether the car is stock height or lowered.

What LCA's are you using? What kind of power are you putting down? What kind of tires are you running? Is this on the street or on a prepped track? Isn't it extremley cold in rural NY? That would generally eliminate traction of any kind, due to the cold asphalt and the cold tires, not to mention a significant increase in rwHP due to the colder, denser air.

I just moved to florida and its about as fast as an ls1 with bolt ons. But from being able to hook very well out of the hole on street tires on the street to not being able to hook all in the same day after that mod. Don't know what brand but I can see how much of a difference between brands would make. Started on the bottom hole and then switched to the top no traction with either.

I heard some say you only need them if the car is lowered and others say it helps even a stock car. I noticed my steering was sloppy and the car drove loose with it set on the top. I used the bottom hole and got the best results. I then got my street slicks and now I hook every time unless its real cold or wet. I have other suspension mods that took care or the wheel hop. I think you want the rear control arms to be parallel to the ground and thats what happened when I use the bottom hole or lowest setting.
