Lakewood traction bars

i have a 94 z28 and was considering giving these a try. i have m/t drag radials and umi three point sfc"s. everything else is stock with poly bushings.
the bars are 300 bux. anyone have/tryed these? if not, which suspension component would help with traction the most/bang for buck? thanx

Best solution is a pair of tubular LCA's and LCA relocation brackets. They can produce 1.2x 60-ft times in high HP 4th Gens. No need for the complication and cost of the Lakewoods. I've seen a few reports of the Lakewoods tearing themselves apart, due to suspension bind.

I have no experience with the Pete Z system but did try the Lakewood with disappointing results. I would go with the relocation brackets and a good set of LCAs like Fred pointed out. If traction does'nt improve enough, then move on to a adjustable TA. I perfer the chassis mounted type but some complain of the added road noise and the occasional clunk that they are know for.
