K Member, A-Arms make a big difference?

I mainly drive my car in the streets. I plan to auto-x it maybe 2-3 times a year. What are the advantages/disadvantages of tubular a-arms and tubular k member? I can get them installed for around $300, I just dont know if it is worth all the money (Roughly $1000+)

Lookin for your opinions..Thanks

The main advantages of the tubular parts are weight savings and accessability to your engine from the bottom. You're not going to see any advantages with auto crossing.
