Post need help picking amp

I just got a '95 camaro z28 and the radio sounds terrible. I was wondering what I should get for an amp (no more than $400)that will make the biggest difference in the sound quality. I'm not looking to power any subs, just to get some great sound.

You're gonna need a LOT more than a $400 amp to get "great sound" in your car. An amp alone aint gonna cut it.

You assemble it yourself by going to all the car stereo shops around you and demoing every piece of equipment that catches your eye and/or ear. Once you have an idea of what you want, the next thing you need to do is decide what your budget will be. Once the funds are in place you can get busy with installing your new stereo.
