Just Installed Hawk Racing Pads and Drilled and Slotted Rotors
Alright my friend and I installed my new brakes today. Hawk Racing pads all around, and these sick drilled and slotted rotors. They look awesome, I also painted the calipers over and better than last time.
Got the rotors on ebay for 210 shipped. Great deal. Front and Rear rotors.
Cant test out my brakes though because my rockers are out of adjustment, so that aint gunna work out yet.
Here are some pics:

You might find that the new pads don't work worth a &*^t on the street. Racing pads are designed to work at much higher temps than regular street pads; typically, they work really well at temps at least 600+ degrees higher than what regular pads are designed to work at and they work rather poorly at low temps. Good luck.

Did you get the HPS or HP+ pads. If you got the HP+, you better invest in some good rim cleaner, and alot of it....and while you're at it by a set of earplugs (or crank the stereo). They are incredible pads, but they dust like mad and squeal like a Banshee! I run them on the fronts but only for track events. They will perform OK on the street for everyday driving, but you really won't notice much improvement unless you heat them up, then hold on or kiss the windshield. Make sure you follow the procedure for setting the pads once you get your ride running, otherwise you will glaze the pads and they won't work real well.
Have fun....

I did the LS1 brake conversion and the HP+ brake pads are dead SILENT! On the LT1 brakes the mechanisms (clips) that keep the retain the pads are weak and all the movement results in squealing. The LS1 brakes pad abutment bracket does a nice job of keeping them quiet. CRC disk brake quiet glue also helps. Although the disk brake quiet stuff did little on the LT1 brakes. The inboard pad wouldn't keep quiet.

Could they be on the wrong sides? Mine are the opposite of yours?
I agree with the above.. although I do have a different brand?
Might be worth checking it out..

There are about 10 different compounds for Hawk pads, so which did you get? I have the HP+ and they are nasty when it comes to dust.
Painting the pads is a waste if you actually run the car hard enough to warrant the pad upgrade. I learned that on my own.
I'm glad others can put faith in unknown drilled rotors off ebay, but I'd never risk it.

Right.. I was agreeing with your post, and politely telling the thread starter to look into his..[which appear to be 'backwards'?]
I know MINE are right... and they are the same as yours [the slots push gassing, etc. OUT towards the outer edge ]
