best shocks and struts for street & strip?

I'm looking for a good priced shock and strut for my 94 Z that will help me out a bit at the strip and still be 100% streetable. i don't want to pay 600 for the HAL QA1's, so i'm looking for another suggestion. thanx

Re: best shocks and struts for street & strip?

you can always find a good deal on the hal's. i got my setup for 300 bucks. they looked brand new. they guy said that one of the front ones was leaking, but i had all 4 rebuilt for free under hal's warranty and they rock. anything more than about 6 clicks is like not having springs or shocks...completely stiff. it's good for launch. thats about it. i leave them at 5 clicks on the street and 4 for long road trips.
